Key Responsibilities
The Responsible Data Analyst I will:
- Support implementation of CRS Responsible Data Policy.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and data protection standards.
- Serve as a key advisor on data protection compliance.
- Coordinate Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
- Respond to data subject rights requests.
- Support data mapping and records of processing activities.
- Investigate and manage personal data incidents.
- Promote privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles.
- Review contracts and agreements for data protection compliance.
- Support implementation of OneTrust Privacy Management Platform.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions on responsible data practices.
- Build staff capacity on privacy, compliance, and secure data handling.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Protection, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data protection, privacy, or compliance.
- Experience supporting privacy programs and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Privacy Impact Assessments
- Data subject rights requests
- Data mapping
- Data breach management
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following will have an advantage:
- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Experience using OneTrust, Microsoft Purview, or Data Loss Prevention tools.
- Experience working in international NGOs or humanitarian organizations.
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other privacy frameworks.
- NGO sector experience.
