📌 Key Responsibilities
Data Collection and Reporting
- Support collection and consolidation of health response data from partners and focal points
- Assist in managing datasets such as 5Ws reports, health service updates, and thematic indicators
- Review partner submissions for completeness, consistency, and accuracy
- Follow up with partners to improve reporting quality and timeliness
- Conduct data cleaning and quality assurance checks
Analysis and Visualization
- Support data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and priority needs
- Assist in designing and maintaining dashboards for coordination and reporting
- Integrate validated datasets into visualization platforms
- Contribute to operational analysis, including resource gaps and operational constraints
Information Products and Dissemination
- Support development of bulletins, infographics, maps, and situation reports
- Assist in responding to data requests from stakeholders under data-sharing protocols
- Help maintain and update public-facing platforms and repositories
- Participate in information management meetings and working groups
Volunteer Engagement Activities
- Promote volunteerism and engage in UNV-related initiatives
- Contribute to knowledge sharing through reports, articles, or field experiences
- Support onboarding of new volunteers through mentorship or buddy programmes
- Encourage use of online volunteering platforms where applicable
🎯 Who Can Apply
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Public Health, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in data management, information systems, or humanitarian information analysis
- Experience in information management within UN agencies or humanitarian organizations is essential
- Strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI or similar tools)
- Experience working with databases and systems such as Oracle Database or Oracle APEX is an advantage
- Fluency in Arabic is required; English is desirable
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in multicultural and complex environments
- Experience working in humanitarian or emergency coordination contexts is preferred
