The Health Emergency Consultant (Conflict Response) position is a short-term consultancy role based in Mozambique, specifically supporting operations in Cabo Delgado and Nampula provinces. This is a national, office-based assignment designed to strengthen emergency health interventions in conflict-affected areas.
This consultancy is part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to respond to the impact of armed conflict, which has significantly disrupted health systems and access to essential services. The selected candidate will support the delivery, coordination, and monitoring of primary health care services for vulnerable populations.
The role focuses on improving access to maternal, newborn, and child health services, strengthening disease prevention and response, and supporting mobile health outreach initiatives.
