About the Opportunity

The Communications Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic communication efforts for a large-scale environmental initiative under the South China Sea Strategic Action Programme (SCS-SAP Project). This position is designed for professionals with strong communication expertise who are passionate about sustainability, environmental protection, and global impact.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for the project

Coordinate communication activities across multiple stakeholders and partner organizations
Organize media events, campaigns, and outreach initiatives
Utilize social media and digital tools to increase project visibility and engagement
Support knowledge sharing and dissemination of project results and lessons learned

Who Can Apply

Candidates with a degree in communications, journalism, public relations, environmental studies, or related fields
Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in communications or related roles
Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
Experience in developing communication strategies and managing digital platforms
Ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences
