About Opportunity
The Peace Corps is currently recruiting volunteers for the Rural Education Development (RED) Project, an international volunteer programme designed to improve educational outcomes in rural communities.
This opportunity places volunteers in rural schools where they work alongside teachers and local education partners to support students’ learning and improve English language instruction. The programme aims to strengthen literacy skills, enhance teaching methods, and expand educational opportunities for young learners.
The volunteer assignment typically lasts around 24 months, including training and community service. Participants receive extensive preparation before beginning their placement, including language training, cultural orientation, and teaching methodology support.

Key Responsibilities
Selected volunteers will typically:
