The Global Industry Hub
Fiscally sponsored by ClimateWorks Foundation, the Global Industry Hub (GIH) focuses on accelerating the decarbonization of heavy industry. Its mission is to mobilize philanthropic and blended capital toward strategic, high-impact opportunities in carbon-intensive sectors such as steel, cement, and chemicals.
The Hub serves as a neutral, catalytic platform that connects funders, policymakers, and industrial actors. By aligning fragmented efforts, de-risking innovation, and strengthening institutional capacity, GIH transforms complex industrial transitions into coordinated and investable pathways. Its work supports emissions reductions while also enhancing industrial competitiveness and regional economic development.
